Doctors in the emergency department can call specialists by specialty. Instant delivery via SMS, DECT or Pager.
The consultation web application allows doctors in the emergency department to select a specialty and send a consultation call to the relevant specialist physician. Depending on hospital preference, calls can be delivered to mobile phones by SMS, to DECT phones or to pager devices.
The user selects the required specialty and the doctor assigned to that specialty, then starts the call. As soon as the call begins, urgency, area and point information are delivered to the consultant physician's mobile phone, pager or DECT phone. The consultant who receives the call can close it by reading their staff card on the card reader.
All closed calls are written to the database for reporting, making it possible to monitor emergency department performance and response times.
